About Gardens

Gardens is a leafy, central suburb at the foot of Table Mountain, named after the historic Company’s Garden that was first planted in the 1650s. Its tree-lined streets combine Victorian homes with modern apartments, boutique hotels and some of the city’s best restaurants.

Kloof Street and Kloof Nek Road run through the heart of Gardens, offering cafés, bistros, wine bars and boutiques, while the Company’s Garden, museums and the city centre are just a short walk away. The Table Mountain Cableway and the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton are only around 10 minutes’ drive over Kloof Nek.

Gardens is an excellent choice for guests who want a central, characterful base with everything Cape Town has to offer close at hand.
